The Sefer Yetzer Ra’ (Book of Evil Inclination), in the world of “Milhamah,” is a corrupted revision of ancient writings about the universal Otiyot letters.
This cryptic book serves as the Bavel Macrostructure’s military playbook for conquering ‘Aravot and the world of Avgad. The book is also the primary sacred text of the Macrostructure’s official cult.
The Sefer Yetzer Ra’s cover is inscribed with the word “raggu,” or evil, in cuneiform. Within its decayed pages, it contains insane, rambling lectures as well as proscribed magic.
The grimoire promises love, mastery and powers at an impossible price — first it shatters the reader’s imagination with intense desires, suspicions and doubts; then it brainwashes him and dooms him to commit calamities.
It’s no surprise that the Holy Tongue Society seeks to destroy this tome!
Ikhavod Kaved represents the Liver in Beli Ya’al’s Yetzer Ra’ organization. He oppressively governs Mattanah City’s Nidbakh sector and earns abundant wealth by owning the Shutummu food distribution company on the side.
Kaved is a difficult, hardhearted man to work with, because he is dimwitted, insensible and often drunk. He gets vehemently furious over trifling inconveniences. Ever fussy, he carries a palm branch broom to sweep the dust from the ground where he treads.
Regardless, he considers himself a distinguished gentleman, and he demands honor and exaltation from just about everyone (except Beli Ya’al). Fueled by delicacies, his engorged body has gravitational powers that can force people to fall on their faces before him.

INKTOBER DAY 16 (COMPASS): Ba’al Tzafon is a distant relative of the Bavel Macrostructure dictator, Beli Ya’al. Representing the North Wind, he naturally hails from a hidden, shadowy land in the distant arctic. But he recently moved to Bavel City to join the villainous cult of Yetzer Ra’.
Tzafon is like Santa Claus with a literally broken moral compass. That compass helps Tzafon seek out encrypted letters in the Aural Grid and makes him a master of speech act ciphers. His half-Ruaḥ/half-Ba’al heritage also lets him disperse in the air and become invisible.
While riding on his neighing steed, Tzafon gives his “treasures” — wrapped exploding gifts — to the Nice, or sometimes he scatters or conceals the gifts for ambushes. He also pulverizes the Naughty with his spring-activated warhead sledgehammer.
Tzafon is based on the צפן shoresh root and broader family, which deals with the north, compasses, treasures, wrapping, turbans, sledgehammers, explosions, distribution, scattering, concealing, ciphers, concealing, neighing and more.
Kelilah Kilyah represents the Kidney among the Souls Division of the Bavel Macrostructure’s Yetzer Ra’ cult. She handles battlefield logistics and supplies the troops.
Kilyah is a knavish careerist who works herself to death to achieve the End of History. On the surface she reins in her emotions, but her innermost thoughts, feelings and morals all steer toward annihilation.
She also is a hoarder who always wants to collect the complete set of everything: weapons, clothing, accessories, tools, consumables — you name it. Her powerful strength lets her carry a massive lacquered Provision Pot, which boasts a near-infinite storage capacity. And in a pinch, her bean-shaped ocarina is a sonic weapon too.
Kilyah was inspired by the כלי shoesh root and related family, which has to do with completion, kidneys, vessels, tools, instruments and potential. It also fulfills Inktober’s Day 3 theme of “Vessel.”
