To play Milhamah RPG, the following game materials are either necessary or helpful:
Necessary materials
- Milhamah: Fighting Words RPG core rulebook
- Character sheet templates for each player
- Writing utensils for each player
- Paper or something else to write on
- One of the following is also essential to play the game:

- A collection of 12 special 12-sided Milhamah dice: 4 red, 4 blue and 4 green
- Milhamah RPG dice mobile app (under construction!)
- A collection of 12 special 12-sided Milhamah dice: 4 red, 4 blue and 4 green
Helpful materials
- Game tokens or miniatures that can represent characters’ placement in the “theater of the mind”
