Sotem Stopper (in color)

After months of quietly doing art, I have returned!

This is the color version of a Sotem, aka the “Stopper.” Sotems are a chief unit in the Bavel Macrostructure’s secret police force. They think no independent thoughts and are solely driven by id and the regime’s orders: to hunt down sacred writings and shut up citizens with their caulking guns.

In the meantime, work on the video game continues. I’ve been making lots of graphical assets for characters and locations. I hope to produce some more videos soon!

Back from Japan and drawing again!

Ahi Ihui goes on a tour of Shibuya, Tokyo.

Welcome back! Following the end of Chapter 1 to the “Milhamah” manga, I spent over two weeks in Japan this summer on a trip that explored the birthplace of manga. This included Akihabara, the Shibuya Scramble (pictured here with Aḥi), the Kyoto International Manga Museum, and much more.

It was amazing to be immersed in so much great art while walking around and doing everyday activities. Hopefully, my own story will continue to grow in its reach and similarly bless people around the world!

In the coming weeks, I’ll be creating new concept art for Chapter 2 as well as hopefully some new sprite art and breakthroughs with the video game. Keep visiting here and following our social media to learn more!

“Refresher Course” (Ch. 1, Pg. 26) is released!

Pg. 26 cover

“Refresher Course,” the manga’s Chapter 1, Page 26, is out today. And from here on, I’ll be announcing the release of new comic pages in the blog news section too. That’s because I’ve been releasing color panels on Instagram every time there’s a new page, but I haven’t posted them here yet! Here is another recent cover, to mark the release of the Japanese translation of Page 19:

Check out our YouTube Shorts

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been experimenting more with video production and editing. On Instagram, we’ve been posting clips of our game development progress. And while we have long posted speedpaints of concept art as Instagram Reels, we’ve also started posting versions of them on YouTube as “Shorts” as well.

Tiqvah toy in the works

Tiqvah turnaround

Shem ‘Etzem’s keshigomu-inspired toy came out earlier this year, and now Tiqvah Tavit’s is in the conceptual stage!

The concept sketch above is a character turnaround for Tiqvah that I will send to a 3D modeling artist. Once the rendering is done, I’ll send it to a 3D printing company and get some more figurines made for the “Milhamah” collectible toy series. The goal is to release the new figure by early May.

If you’d like to buy Shem’s toy, you can do so by visiting our Etsy page.
