The Forlorn Fuzzy Fleece is a sheep suit that is bound to sink the ego of whoever dons it. Prisons buy them in bulk to demoralize enemy captives. That said, the fleece has some advantages. Its downy softness protects against crushing damage, and its humiliating appearance makes it less likely for monsters and villains to see the wearer as a threat. Besides their talons, they also are adept at using sharp chakram-like ring jewelry to attack opponents. Their martial arts culture specializes in twirling and aerial loops.

The Ace Anchorman is a tyrant at the mound.

INKTOBER DAY 17 (COLLIDE): Behind his BBL News studio desk, the Ace Anchorman is a pitchman, spinning for the vicious Bavel Macrostructure and its fascist tyranny.

But in his off hours, he delivers at the pitcher’s mound for the Bavel Tyrants. Because he acts above the rules, his go-to strategy is his Breaking News Ball, perfect for oppressing opponents’ skulls. And his confrontational style drives him to collide into base stealers the way he tackles shoe-leather reporting: cleats first.

Combine his lifestyle with his Nefil heritage, and it’s no surprise that the Ace Anchorman has an ego that won’t tolerate criticism. Only *he* gets to ask the hard-hitting questions, followed by hard-hitting fastballs.

Inktober 16: Ba’al Tzafon with Broken Moral Compass

Tzafon is like Santa with a broken moral compass.

INKTOBER DAY 16 (COMPASS): Ba’al Tzafon is a distant relative of the Bavel Macrostructure dictator, Beli Ya’al. Representing the North Wind, he naturally hails from a hidden, shadowy land in the distant arctic. But he recently moved to Bavel City to join the villainous cult of Yetzer Ra’.

Tzafon is like Santa Claus with a literally broken moral compass. That compass helps Tzafon seek out encrypted letters in the Aural Grid and makes him a master of speech act ciphers. His half-Ruaḥ/half-Ba’al heritage also lets him disperse in the air and become invisible.

While riding on his neighing steed, Tzafon gives his “treasures” — wrapped exploding gifts — to the Nice, or sometimes he scatters or conceals the gifts for ambushes. He also pulverizes the Naughty with his spring-activated warhead sledgehammer.

Tzafon is based on the צפן shoresh root and broader family, which deals with the north, compasses, treasures, wrapping, turbans, sledgehammers, explosions, distribution, scattering, concealing, ciphers, concealing, neighing and more.
