Mattanah is the city of surprises.

Mattanah, the City of Surprises, is a gentrified commercial center of luxury and tech products for the enemy Bavel Macrostructure. Its glittering temples of consumerism stack to the skies like presents. But the city that never sleeps “knows when you are sleeping,” as its skyscraper-sized data servers store surveillance data on the public. But dark secrets lurk beneath the city’s spying eyes, including widespread homelessness and the Bavel Macrostructure’s human trafficking industry.

Katef Shoulder Slope

The Katef is a tall shoulder to stand on.

The Katef Shoulder Slope is a tall craggy slope in Medinat Alef. It’s called that because the hill looks a bit like the shoulder of a human figure. The place is largely abandoned, though cattle ranchers who passed through here invented Bundle Dumplings to feed themselves along the journey. Beware of vines that bind themselves to intruders! This domain represents the וכת shoresh family, which deals with shoulder slopes, vines and more.

 

 

Ulpan Academy

The Ulpan Academy trains 'IRM soldiers.

Ulpan is the capital of ‘Aravot’s state of Alef. It’s home to the cattle on a thousand hills, as well as a military academy. Despite the academy’s prominent hilltop location, it’s frequently hidden by dark clouds of migratory serotine bats.

The Ulpan Academy boasts one of the most educated populations in Avgad. It trains ‘Ivrit Revival Movement recruits and researches military intelligence ciphers in a mysterious facility known as the Darkroom. A team of generals runs both the campus and the greater city. The community also has a strong athletic culture, and many enrollees become sports champions and coaches throughout ‘Aravot.

The Ulpan Academy comes from the אלפ shoresh family, which governs language schools, training, generals, champions, oxen, serotine bats, darkness and more.

Qoṭev Polar Wasteland

The Qoṭev Polar Wasteland sticks out amid the lush, green hills and towering forests of ‘Aravot’s state of Alef. Giant sprouting shoresh roots changed Avgad’s environment and climates, and shifted the planet’s poles too.

However, the frozen site is a former battleground from the Descriptivist-Prescriptivist War, and the glowing green skies may not be from an aurora, but from residual radiation or pestilential miasma.

The Bavel Macrostructure hopes to capture a rumored foundation letter artifact in Qoṭev. The few residents who dare live here try to strike oil, whether from the ground or out of sparse vegetation.

The Qoṭev Polar Wasteland belongs to the בטק shoresh family, which governs polarization, oil presses, destruction, pestilence, foundations and more.

Ilan Forest

The Ilan forest is home to a giant tree.

The Ilan Forest spreads upon the hills of Medinat Alef, not far from the ‘Ivrit Revival Movement’s Ulpan Academy base. It is home to a tree village populated by a ramlike people and ruled by Allon Ilan, an antlered man who is allied with the enemy Bavel Macrostructure.

Bavel believes that the forest’s largest tree, rumored to be the original Syntax Tree, hides the Alp foundation letter that helped form the universe. The Ilan Forest is the stronghold domain for the אול shoresh family, representing trees and rams.
